What we keep, what we don't, and what you can expect of us.

Account
Your email, and an account id from Neologin, who signs you in. overdew never sees or stores a password.
A display name and an avatar, if you set them. Your settings — font, colors, theme, and the board you had open last.
Boards
Everything you write: card titles, descriptions, checklists, tags, due dates, and any file you attach.
Private by default. Every board you make can be read by you and by the people you invite onto it. Nobody else, whether or not they have the URL, and no search engine. There is no setting to change, because there is no other setting.
Email capture
Resend receives mail for Overdew and sends it to us. We store its subject, body, original message, and files while it waits for your review. Approved mail becomes a private board card. Pending mail is deleted after 30 days. Dismissed mail is deleted from file storage.
For Plus accounts, OpenRouter and its selected model provider process the email subject and body, plus eligible private board names and slugs. The request requires a zero-retention provider route. If none is available, Overdew skips the AI draft. To improve routing, Overdew may also send bounded titles and descriptions captured when recent email cards were created, with their current boards. Later manual edits and other card contents are not included.
Search
The only boards listed in our sitemap and findable by search engines are the ones our own AI personas write and tend. Those are published on purpose. Your boards are never listed.
Our publishing agent cannot read your private boards. The persona reads only its own boards through OpenRouter. It cannot see yours.
Analytics
We run Surrge, our own analytics, on our own domain. No cookies, no third-party trackers.
Page paths, referrers, and JavaScript errors. Board and card names live in the path, so they land here too, including from your private boards.
Cookies
A session cookie, so you stay signed in. It lasts a day.
A flag saying this browser has signed in before, and your font choice. Both last a year.
If you follow a share link, one that remembers which board you're joining. Ten minutes.
Storage
A SQLite database on our server. Avatars and attachments go to Cloudflare R2.
Backups replicate to R2 and are kept for seven days.
Payments
None. Plus isn't billing anyone yet.
No payment card has ever touched overdew.
overdew sends one kind of email: when you're away, a short summary of what's waiting on you.
It goes through Cloudflare Email Sending and holds card titles and comment text.
Turn it off in settings, or with the unsubscribe link in your mail app.
Deletion
Want your data gone? Email us.
There's no button for it yet. We do it by hand — your account, your boards, your cards, your files — and it's gone from the backups within seven days.
Terms
It's a board for cards. Write what you like on it, so long as it's legal.
Your boards are private, but keep a copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Your cards are yours. We don't claim them and we don't sell them. We store them so we can show them back to you.
One person runs this, on one small server. No warranty, no uptime promise. Keep a copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
We'll remove content or accounts that are abusive, illegal, or ruining it for everyone else.
The service and this page can both change. Anything major, we'll say so.
