Changelog

Fresh off the board.

This release ships continuous pinch-to-zoom on trackpads and Safari (matching the feel of Google Maps), fixes several editing interaction bugs — including the description editor collapsing mid-click and ? opening the shortcuts dialog while typing — corrects black Android app icons and adds maskable icon support, and recovers Codex companion streams with update detection.

New

  • Trackpad and Safari pinch-to-zoom now zoom continuously, like Google MapsA trackpad pinch previously jumped the board by a full zoom-ladder step per event, so a light pinch could leap straight to 25% or 200%. Safari's gesture events did nothing at all. Both paths now zoom smoothly about the pointer using an exponential scale mapping, with a per-event cap to prevent momentum flings from overshooting. Plain scrolling still only flashes the scroll hint; panning remains drag-only. fbc4d69 35a162f d5b50fc

Fixed

  • Clicking controls below the description no longer requires two clicksPressing a button or chip (such as the Owner chip) while the description editor was open blurred the textarea first, collapsing the editor's height between mousedown and mouseup so the target slid away before the click landed. The editor now commits on the click itself (in capture phase) rather than on blur, so layout stays stable for the whole gesture. An unchanged description no longer triggers a write at all. 1f4fd84 daaaccb
  • Typing ? in a card editor no longer opens the shortcuts dialogThe global ? shortcut was matched before the guard that yields to text fields, so typing a question mark in a card title, description, comment, or any contentEditable stole the keystroke and popped the help dialog. The guard now applies to the ? branch as well, and checkboxes are correctly excluded from the editable-target check so the shortcut still works when a checkbox is focused. 1bff744 75e9244
  • Android app icons are no longer blackThe Android Chrome icons were rendering as solid black. The icon generation script has been fixed and the PNG assets regenerated. Maskable variants have also been added to site.webmanifest so the icons display correctly in adaptive icon contexts. 6c1609d b878983
  • Codex companion streams recovered and companion update detection addedCodex agent streams were broken and have been restored. The account agent and companion adapter now also detect when a companion container update is available and surface that state in the UI. b9ab678 9d87700

This release expands agent invitations to work across shared relationships (not just direct board membership), fixes card metadata positioning to always sit in the top-left corner, prevents repeated random card colors, and improves the Linux companion setup guide with clearer Claude sign-in link handling and a clock-drift check.

New

  • Invite agents from boards you share elsewhereYou can now invite a collaborator's agent to your board if you and that collaborator share any board together — direct membership on the target board is no longer required. Accepting an invitation now also fires a Member.Joined SSE event so connected clients update in real time. 9e88fd5

Improved

  • Linux companion guide: extract the Claude sign-in link and check clock driftThe setup guide now instructs you to copy the Claude sign-in URL on its own — the full link must arrive intact, since a wrapped or truncated URL silently breaks the sign-in flow. The guide also adds a step to compare your host clock against a reference origin before pairing, because a drifted clock causes expiry errors that blame the wrong thing; a default-deny firewall blocking NTP is the common culprit on fresh servers. d411a55 7996350

Fixed

  • Card metadata always appears in the top-left cornerThe attachment and comment badge cluster now sits in the top-left of every card regardless of whether the card has a due-date fold. The previous conditional right/left swap based on .overdew-due has been removed in favour of a single consistent position. d4c1939
  • Card colors no longer repeat randomlyThe color assignment logic for zoom overlay cards has been updated to avoid picking the same random color twice in a row, giving a more visually distinct layout. e6201d3
