Changelog

Fresh off the board.

This release ships the in-app attention center — a persistent drawer that replaces the old daily banner for surfacing items that need your attention. The daily banner and its server-side seen-tracking machinery have been removed. A deployment fix ensures NEOLOGIN_SECRET is correctly injected into the web container, and the landing page copy has been updated.

Breaking changes

  • Daily attention banner and seen-tracking removedThe once-a-day bottom banner and all its supporting machinery have been removed: the /api/attention/seen endpoint, User.markAttentionSeen, attentionSeenDate, the seenToday digest field, and the attention_tz/last_attention_seen_date columns. Any integrations relying on /api/attention/seen will need to be updated. 298a8bd

New

  • New attention center replaces the daily bannerA persistent navigation drawer now surfaces everything that needs your attention, pinned open as long as items remain. It keeps its open state and active filters as you move between boards, and opens same-board cards in place with cross-document view transitions. 83dc69b 298a8bd

Improved

  • Landing page copy updatedThe overdew landing page has new marketing copy, written and refined section by section against the actual product. 9b03da9

Fixed

  • NEOLOGIN_SECRET is now injected into the web container at deploy timeThe deploy configuration was updated to pass NEOLOGIN_SECRET into the web container. Without this fix, authentication would fail in production. ba9881e

This release ships the new Overdew wordmark and a complete favicon family across the app, a visual due-date corner-fold indicator on notes with tooltip and overdue styling, a polished due-date picker, board deletion from both the settings sheet and dashboard, a fix for the delete endpoint returning a false error, and a new board activity feed that logs create, invite, and delete events.

New

  • Corner-fold due-date indicator on notesNotes with a due date now show a paper-fold corner that communicates urgency at a glance: a day count for dates within 13 days, a bullet mark with magnitude for overdue notes, and no fold for completed notes. Hovering the fold shows a tooltip with the exact date and relative time. 8a59a08
  • Delete a board from the settings sheet and dashboardBoard owners can now delete a board directly from the settings sheet or from the trash icon on the dashboard card. Both surfaces route through a shared confirmation dialog before sending the delete request. 26dcb8e 14f5496 7446da7 cae6bfe 3dfec2a
  • Board activity feed logs create, invite, and delete eventsA new board_events table records when boards are created, members are invited, and boards are deleted. Deleted-board events are preserved after the board is removed via a separate board_event_recipients snapshot. The dashboard activity feed now merges these board events with the existing note feed, ordered by timestamp. 9af890c

Improved

  • New Overdew wordmark and full favicon familyThe handwritten text on the landing page, home, and board canvas is replaced with the new SVG wordmark. A complete favicon set (favicon.svg, .ico, 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, apple-touch-icon, android-chrome) plus site.webmanifest are now served at the root for browser auto-discovery, cache-busted via BUILD_VERSION. The favicon design was also revised to a side-view stack of five brand-color bands so all five colors read clearly at 16×16, fixing a rendering bug where oklch() fills were rasterized as black. 72e1937 64c0c43 09da4ac
  • Polished due-date picker layoutThe due-date popover is now locked to 27rem wide so its margins align with the card edges, the calendar uses fixed weeks so navigating months never shifts the layout, and days outside the current month are faded to make the grid easier to read. 2329911

Fixed

  • DELETE /board now returns 204 instead of redirectingThe delete endpoint previously responded with a 302 redirect to /dashboard, which caused the client-side fetch call to follow it into an HTML page and sometimes report a failure even though the board had been deleted. It now returns 204 No Content, which is the correct shape for a fetch-driven delete. cc947e2
